In accordance with Senate Policy 42-27, students who opt to miss a class to participate in a
University-sanctioned activity are responsible for any work missed during the
absence. In accordance with Senate Policy 44-35, students who miss a scheduled examination or
quiz because of participation in a scheduled University-approved activity are permitted to
make up the examination or quiz without penalty
