Alabama Property Bill of Sale

The Alabama Bill of Sale is a legal binding document that sees transfer of properties from a seller to a buyer upon an agreement. The Alabama Bill of sale finalizes a permanent conveyance of property once the document is signed by all the involved parties.

In accordance to section 32-13-4, in case a trade of an abandoned and towed vehicle, there should be a 30 days’ notice to the owner before it is sold.  There should also be a provision of a copy state or Federal identification by all the persons involved.

How to fill The Alabama Bill of Sale Form

The name of the county should be indicated at the top.  The name of the seller and the amount to be paid and that of the buyer should be indicated in the following section.

  • The legal description of the property which includes the lot, block, section, subdivision and the address.
  • Once the transaction is agreed upon, the seller signs on their section in presence of witness who also indicate their details.
  • The last section of the form requires notarization with a notarial seal and dated.

The Alabama Bill of sale form is a simplified document that requires the input of the parties involved for it to be valid. It also indicates permanent transfer of property thus should be carefully filled upon agreements.

Seller hereby warrants and covenants that Seller has the right, power and authority to, and hereby does, sell, transfer, assign and convey all of said assets free and clear or hereby disclosed of such liens, claims, encumbrances and restrictions.

Said Seller hereby covenants that it will warrant and defend same against all lawful claims whatsoever.
